Maroochy Eye Specialists is a new Ophthalmology practice (established in 2020), offering the highest standard of care for patients needing specialist assessment and treatment of a comprehensive range of eye concerns.
Dr David Posselt is the founding ophthalmologist. He has been providing eye care on the Sunshine Coast since 2011, and has a reputation for excellent communication, thorough care, and very safe delivery of treatment options.
The generously sized new eye clinic is fully equipped with the latest examination and imaging devices to allow patients to receive the very best care, in a space that has been thoughtfully designed to allow patients to feel comfortable. There is a dedicated eye laser room, as well as a minor procedure room on site for small procedures. Larger operations are undertaken at Sunshine Coast Day Surgery.

Our Eye Specialists clinic is based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, but we service patients from the entire region including but not limited to: Noosa, Eumundi, Mapleton, Maleny, Nambour, Beerwah, Caloundra, Pelican Waters, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Sippy Downs, Brightwater, Buderim and Twin Waters. Some patients travel from surrounding regional areas such as Gympie, Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach & Kingaroy.
